Up for auction is a 1980 Toyota FJ40 Land Cruiser I restored four years ago. The vehicle was disassembled down to the tub, painted Viper Red, and reassembled using new hardware. Most of the window seals were replaced, the seats were reupholstered and a new headliner was installed as well. The 2F engine starts right up and runs strong. The 4x4 works and shifts as it should. All gauges work as well. No leaks from the engine, transmission, transfer case, or any other component. Smooth running and reliable truck. Vehicle description: Ø 2F engine with 62,755 original miles, as stated by previous owner. Ø Front Disc Brakes, Drums in the rear Ø Power Steering Ø Rhino Lined inside/Coated undercarriage Ø TPI 4” lift with Skyjacker shocks. Ø Outlaw II Wheels with 33x12.5x10 Dick Cepek Radial FCII Tires. Ø Mile Marker SI 12,000lb. winch Ø KC High Output lights. Ø Custom built storage boxes underneath bench seats. Ø Tuffy lockable center console Ø Pioneer CD/Stereo with speakers mounted in storage boxes. Ø Lockable Clutch/Brake pedals as anti-theft device Ø Front locking hubs Cons: - There is a slight exhaust leak coming from the headers. - Small paint blisters at the right rear, and small chip front windshield. See attached pictures. Note: This vehicle does not have any emissions equipment installed. This vehicle is located and registered in Florida where vehicles are exempt from emissions testing. Please check with your state agency to determine if a 1980 vehicle is exempt from emissions testing. Otherwise it will be your responsibility to install the required equipment.
