Vehicle Detail
I want to start off by stating that this is not a complete car, it is a project car that will need lots of fabrication and is only tack welded together. It is not drivable and does not have a title. There will be a bill of sale with the vehicle, there is an original vehicle id tag on the passenger side A Pillar. This was originally a four door sedan that has been heavily chopped, channeled and sectioned. The doors have been suicided and the top chopped. There is still a lot of sheet metal fabrication that will need to be done to the body. There is no floor, it does have the original dash and front window frame, no glass. It has a brand new Flaming River tilt steering column and Speedway aluminum steering wheel. The chassis is the original, it was cut and the front half has been flipped for the underslung front suspension. The frame was boxed and crossmembers were added, it has a step notch in the rear for the air suspension, there was a Speedway four link and panhard bar installed, also two Firestone bags and mounts. The rear air suspension is in working order, there is no onboard air supply, I a have temp. airline to manually fill for now. The front suspension is all original equipment, it has underslung leafs and the OEM axel, the drum brakes look to be all new from the previous owner. Also, the front wheels are OEM, the tires look to be newer from the previous owner they are not white walls they are just painted. The rear wheels are brand new steel wheels with Coker Classic Wide Whites L78-15. The rear differential is out of an '86 Trans Am, it does have a OEM disc brake setup. There is a brand new Speedway Motors master cylinder and pedal assembly tack welded in place. The engine is vintage, I pulled it out of a running '64 Chevy Belair, it is the 283 CI engine that has an Edelbrock intake and new never been ran Holly 650, the valve covers are newer, there is only one header, the transmission is a two speed Powerglide also original to the Belair, it shifted before it was pulled about two years ago. I do have a Speedway drive shaft that goes with the car, it was shortened and balanced. The car also has a brand new Northern aluminum radiator behind the sectioned and leaned back grill. This car was my project for years, I currently have another project that's more important. I have many hours of labor into this car and would like to see someone finish it. There is a lot of potential here for a really cool ride!,I'm open to offers so don't be afraid to throw one out there you never know I might take it. I have this car for sale locally, I have the right to end auction early if it sells. Thanks!
