I have for sale a 1989 Chevy Cavalier Convertible with approximately 84,500 miles. I have owned this car for the past 9 years and it has been garage kept for the time I have owned it. It has been well maintained, never been in an accident and there is no rust on the car. Everthing works on this car. I had the radio replaced when I purchased the car and replaced the wheels, I do have the old wheels if the winner wants them. The car was repainted 5 years ago because the color was dull and it was repainted to the original color. There are light surface scratches, but nothing that couldn't be buffed out. There are no dents in the car The top is in good condition with no holes. There is just a bit of wear on the edges where the top folds into the body. The weather stripping on the doors needs to be replaced. I have the passanger side stripping and I have stripping for the top (which is not bad, but I had the opportunity to buy it for the future so I purchased it also.) The stripping for the drivers side is a bit picked at, and I still haven't found the replacement stripping. As you can see, the interior of the car is worn, but not abused. You can ourchase new carpeting on Ebay for under $150 dollars. I just recently had he car serviced and everything checked out. PA inspection is due soon and I will have it done prior to final sale. In the 9 years that I owned it, I only drove it in the summer and pit about 6000 miles on it. It was basicall my play car. The reason I am selling it is becausewe are getting ready to convert our garage to an in-law suite and I need the space. Also, I can't bear to leave it outside over the winter.
