I bought this for a father son project and after trying several times to get him to work on it I came to the realization that I can not get him to clean his room let alone help me work on a car.What the heck was I thinking. The story is that this car has been stored since the mid 80s and the sticker on the windshield is from 1986. I have had it about a month and was told when I got it it needed a voltage regulator, I put one on it and dumped some gas in the carb and after playing with it a little it started and ran for about 30 seconds . I left it at that because my goal was just to make sure it was not siezed , it actually starting was a surprise. The body is very nice for the year but does have a few dents and dings . The worst rot is on the bottom of the front quarter panel that had been replaced at some point in time.The floorboords look pretty good except right by the kick panel. (See pics). The trunk looks good. odometer reads about 10,000 miles so I am sure it is on it's second time around. Just to be clear this has not been on the road since 1986 and needs to be restored.
