History : The US Spec car was purchased in Germany by Encinitas German Auto Service (Encinitas California) by a gentleman by the name of Fred. He drove it around Europe for several weeks, and then then shipped it to the US. In the early 1980's he sold the car to his niece, Lisa, who drove it for several years then she put it in storage for eight years. I purchased the car in 1995 when she had 80,000 miles. I drove her on and off for 10 years and then put it storage. I love this car! Due to my MS I am no longer able to maneuver a stick shift.
