Vehicle Detail
We bought this car in June of 2005 as a rebuilt wreck. It had roughly 84K miles on it at the time. The left side had been damaged and fixed. The car has been a very good car for our kids to learn to drive. Our daughter first, then our son. There is damage from two recent incidents. The first was during ice and snow, my son slid off the road slowly and scraped up against a black wooden fence on the left side. That took out the left mirror which we duck taped back on and it works fine now. The second incident occurred about 6 weeks ago and involved my son being forced off the road by an on coming car. He hit two mailboxes on the left front corner. You can see that the left headlight assembly is damaged and does not work. The car runs and drives nice. Most of the damage is on the left side with the exception of the hood. The hood will need to be replaced to make it nice again. We had an estimate done which said that $1,800 would fix everything that's wrong with it. If you are a "do-it-your-selfer", I'm sure you can beat that price significantly. The paint on the top of the car has lost it's clear coat, so it could definitely use a paint job after the body work is completed. Tires have about 10K miles on them, and the brakes have about the same. A/C works well. Stereo works well and sounds good for factory. Car is for sale locally, so I reserve the right to end auction if it sells. I will need a cashier's check when you pick up the car for the full amount. Also, you must arrange to pick up during business hours, M-F so that we can process the change of ownership together at the courthouse. Must pick the car up within 7 days of auction's end.
