Vehicle Detail

I am helping my parents sell their 1978 Chrylser Cordoba and this auction is for the car ONLY, but a spare engine and transmission is included for anyone who hits BUT IT NOW. This car had many parts replaced before they had to park it due to engine issues. It has a bronze colored exterior and interior. The car currently has a 318 engine which does not run. My brother is a Chrysler mechanic and he replaced the timing chain and several other items, but for some reason, the engine did not want to stay running. It will turn over, but after many attempts with no luck and no garage to keep it in, the choice was made to sell it to a new home. Chances are good the fuel pump is going to need replaced as the fuel filter is dry, or the fuel line is somehow plugged. My parents do have receipts for work done to the car and parts purchased for it. There is currently only minor surface rust on the car and the interior is in very good condition for its age. All four original hubcaps are with the car and it currently has a PA classic plate which stays with the car unless you take it out of state. Updated items include rear leaf springs, front shocks, rear air shocks, rebuilt carb, brakes and electrical components replaced (ballast resistor, ECM, etc...). This car originally had a 360 cubic inch engine, but a previous owner removed it for some reason. To return this car back to original, I am including a complete 360 engine and transmission combo from a 1976 Dodge with wiring harness and transmission crossmember with the car for anyone who hits BUY IT NOW. The engine is complete, runs and needs only its original timing chain updated. It has less than 70,000 miles on it. This car deserves a very good home. It was only driven to local cars shows, was never wrecked and with the second engine, could be a very, very easy restoration or even a solid driver. Please call me to see the car in person or ask questions. I can e-mail more pictures of the car and of the extra engine if needed. THIS CAR MUST BE TOWED - IT CANNOT BE DRIVEN. This car is also listed in the local newspaper and on other online sites. I reserve the right to end the sale at any time without notice. Thank you for looking. This car originally had a 360 cubic inch engine, but a previous owner removed it for some reason and dropped in the 318. To return this car back to original, I have available a complete non-lean burn 360 engine and transmission combo from a 1976 Dodge with wiring harness and transmission crossmember. The engine is complete, runs and needs only its original timing chain updated. It has less than 70,000 miles on it. The engine and tranny combo would add $750 to the cost of the car - not a bad price for a complete setup. This car deserves a very good home.
