1965 BENTLEY S3 I purchased this car 8 years ago, unfortunatlely didn't get a chance to drive it as much i would have liked to. Always Garage kept! Professionally restored in the mid-nineties from the ground up, by previous owner. All paint preparations, including undercoating, and all mechanical aspects have been refurbished to original Bentley specifications. All of the burl wood was pulled and restored by hand , as were the door panels, and trays in the rear of the automobile. The leather, as well as the chrome, by reason of authenticity, are original. The seats were in such fine shape that the only improvements needed were a few touch ups by way of re-coloration. The owner felt that the chrome had been maintained in such a way that only polishing was needed. The car has been garaged for more than 30 years, and never driven in the rain. It runs with a strong engine, and is quite easy to handle on the open road. Everything in the car works quite well. The previous owner noticed that a few of the gauges (speedometer, water temperature gauge, oil pressure gauge) seemed to be sticking. All functions i.e. mileage has been accounted for , the car does not overheat, and the oil pressure is fine. The sticking gauges are thought to be due to age and the fact that its been sitting in a garage for so long. A new battery has been installed. Rest assured the car is ready for a summer afternoon cruise.
