Rescued and restored after 20 years of storage, this LRE was a pampered former show truck in the 80's and has ZERO RUST. This highly collectable Lil Red Express has just been painted the correct factory color, has new factory-authentic decals, new window and door seals, new exhaust, new brakes, new 275-60/15 tires, new shocks, new carpet with matching floor mats, new behind the seats carpet curtain (factory option), new upholstery and is 1 of 3 known to exist with the red bucket seats. It's original hi-performance 360 runs extremely well - no smoke, doesn't burn oil and starts within 2-3 seconds every time. New Edelbrock 1406 carb and RPM AirGap manifold were installed within the last 250 miles, strong running motor and 727 transmission shifts very smoothly. Wood in bed is the original wood and doesn't have any rot or missing any pieces - looks just like it did when it drove off the Dodge dealership's showroom floor back in 1979. Exterior wood has been restored and finished with sparurethane to help protect from the sun and rain - plus wood was installed with nylon spacers between the bed sides and the wood - prevents water from collecting between the wood/bed and allows air to circulate. Has factory A/C, factory AM/FM/CB radio that works great - you can listen to music and any of 40 CB channels at the same time. Dealer installed his/her sunroofs don't leak, look great, and allow the driver or passenger to open/close as they desire. This is a great cruiser and looks incredible.
