For sale is my 1995 extended cab toyota tacoma it has the 4 cylinder, 2.7L engine, 167,xxx miles on it. I've changed the oil every 3k since I've had it. I put two brand new tires on the back about 4 months ago, still in great shape. The thing you have to understand about the truck is that it has some cosmetic issues, I'll show you in the pictures below. It's not a bad looking truck it just has dents/dings/scratches like nearly all vehicles from 1995 that are still on the road. I didn't put any of the scratches or dings on this truck, this is how it was when I bought it, I've taken very good care of the truck since I've had it, I purchased it for the 4x4 to get around in the winter and the bed. Check out the autocheck score, let's hear it for reliable 1st gen tacoma's! It has a hitch on it, I've never towed anything with it. It is a VERY reliable vehicle, it started up without hesitation on the coldest days in northern Indiana buried in the snow. Issues with the truck: The gas tank flap lock doesn't work, everything lines up it's not dented or anything the lock just doesn't work so it sits just a little bit open. The driver side seat belt does not retract. The two front corner lights are loose, I've taken them out, you can put them back in with some bolts or whatever. The plastic tube that feeds into the windshield washer fluid is cracked. The a/c doesn't work. The muffler probably needs to be replaced, it might be repairable. The hand break doesn't work, the breaks are fine, they work it's just the cable is loose somewhere. The step bars are rusting through, not a big deal, easily replaced or taken off the truck. The front bumper has a dent in it, see pictures. There is a little bit of rust on the EXTERIOR of the body, just a little, and on the gas tank. Few other misc. cosmetic issues, check out the pictures. Good things about the truck: It's reliable! 4x4 works perfectly. 4low, 4high, all of it works as it should, goes in and out easily. Mechanically it's been cared for and maintained. For a 1995, and for a truck it drives well and straight. Back tires are brand new, for the most part with a lot of tread left on them, front tires are decent. Compared to other 4-wheel drive tacoma's it's a steal at this price. It's got low mileage for the year, this truck will last another 100k at least if you take care of it like I have. Clutch is strong, it was replaced about 6 months ago Radiator is nearly brand new, also replaced about 6 months ago. Frame is in GREAT condition and rust free! This is quite remarkable for the older year tacoma's, come see for yourself! It does have a hitch on it, though I've never towed anything with it. It has an aftermarket CD player in it and it has two 100w speakers in the back. The 2.7L version has a timing chain, not a timing belt, last a lot longer and if it breaks does not damage the engine. I have the receipt for the clutch, lost the one for the radiator but I do have pics of me installing it. Did I mention it will reliable get you from point A to point B? good mpg considering it's a truck, around 20, probably not as good as it could be if the muffler were fixed. The interior of the truck is in great condition, only a small hole in the driver seat, other than that the interior is in excellent condition, back seat is also just as clean. The truck has the original factory jack that comes with it but I'm also giving the new owner my nice jackstand, you can see it in the back of the truck in one of the photos. The reserve for the vehicle is very low, I will not disclose it but considering I bought the truck before winter for $3900 (that's 3900 before tax, have receipts), $600 for a clutch (have receipts), $200 for radiator (do not have receipts but I have pictures of me installing it), coolant flush, new thermostat, two new tires on the back $300, you'd be surprised what little I'm asking for the truck.
