This is a 2004 Ford F-550 Powerstroke diesel truck, modified for heavy towing duty. The seller owns a repossession and towing business but no longer has need for this particular vehicle. It is in great condition and has had all routine service work (such as oil changes, transmission work, tune-ups, and inspections) performed locally by a licensed Ford dealership. As seen from the pictures, this is a beautiful and well-maintained vehicle. The seller typically used this tow truck for vehicles which were bulky or heavy, although it works just as well for smaller/lighter autos as well. The towing equipment is Jerr-Dan, with an HPL 35 Wheel Lift and 8080 Wrecker Boom. The lift is operated via outboard controls, and has a Muncie PTO system inside to control the RPMs. The interior of the vehicle is very clean and well-maintained as well. When not in use, this vehicle was stored inside of a warehouse to protect it from the elements. For the buyer, the seller agrees to pay one-way airfare to our location so that you may recover the vehicle and transport it back to your location.
