1996 BMW 328i, automatic 4dr for sale - moved to NYC and don't need a car any more. Bought the car back in 2005. Details:-Runs smoothly -Replaced water pump with one that has a metal impeller (won't shatter). -Has has new ignition coils and O2 sensors. -New alternator, belts and 4 tires at ~104k. -New shocks and struts at ~95k -Weathertech mats. -Premium sound system (Harmon/Kardon), and mp3 cd player. -Converted the Transmission Fluid to synthetic at around 90k (Royal Purple). -Only used Mobil1 Synthetic motor oil. Known Issues: -Has a few small scratches / small dings -Interior showing some age (wear/cracking/fading on seats/armrest- it is a 15 year old car!) -Headliner has two small sags - one in back left, one in front right. Currently held up with pins (see photos). Sunroof liner also slightly saggy but opens fine. -Airbag light comes on for first two minutes of drive. Brought to the dealer and was told it is due to fault codes for passenger side seat belt and seat sensor. No impact other than both airbags going off in an accident (as opposed to just one if there is no passenger), so left as is. -Heat does not blow at idle (but does if accelerator is depressed). Mainly an inconvenience factor. Believe to need a new heater control valve (have a used replacement part but have not replaced). -Right front turn signal plastic has a crack in it. -A/C not terribly effective at outside temperatures above around 95F+ -Front control arm bushings / ball joints are worn. Car sold as-is. Please ask any questions or come take a look before bidding. This is a no-reserve auction so this car will sell to the last bidder. Car is currently not registered so unable to deliver locally (haven't needed it having moved to NYC). Buyer will need to register car before pickup and drive, otherwise have towed/transported. $200 deposit due within 48 hours, and full payment within 7 days. If you want to drive the car home, upon clearing of full payment I'll overnight the title so that you can register the car, and then schedule a pickup.
