THIS IS THE PERFECT CAR FOR YOUR STUDENT GOING AWAY TO COLLEGE. For sale is a mechanically sound 2002 Ford Focus 4-Door Sedan. This is my daughter's car, and we are only selling it because she inherited a newer, fancier vehicle. She has owned the car for four years. During that time, regular service maintenance has been performed, new tires have been put on, and the fuel pump has been replaced. The fuel pump is the only thing that has gone wrong with the car during my daughter's ownership. We have invoices for all work done on the car in the past four years. She bought the car from a dealer. When she bought the Focus, there was some damage done to the driver's side door, as a result of someone trying to pry the door open enough to run down a line to unlock the car, since the keys had been locked in. The damage is shown in the pictures, and has resulted in some wind noise on the driver's side. There is some light scraping on the back bumper on the driver's side, which I'm almost sure will buff out. Otherwise, there are two small dents on the passenger side (see pictures), which could be repaired by paintless dent removal professionally, or with a kit, and some paint chipping around for doors and the top of the hood area by the windshield, all of which I have shown in pictures. There is some light wear to the rubberized steering wheel. As far as known, the cassette player works, although my daughter has no cassettes to play in it. Although this car doesn't have a sounding alarm system, the key has a computer chip in it, so that only that key will start the car. The interior is in very nearly pristine condition, with no damage anywhere. There are two cup holders in the front seat, and one in the back. The car seats five. This car has an excellent air-conditioning system. This is a very sporty car, yet it gets good gas mileage; approximately 28 in the city, and 36 on the highway. The Kelley Blue Book Consumer Report rates the Ford Focus at 4.1 out of 5, so it would be hard to do better than this car. Please be aware, however, that this car is sold AS IS, AND ANY SALE IS FINAL. The Kelley Blue Book value for this car in fair condition is $3450, and this car is in fair to good condition, as far as is known. There is no manual for the car.
