Up for auction is a 1997 Dodge Avenger. The car is mechanically sound. It is great on gas with a small 2.5 liter engine but also has some nice speed to it. I have been driving it everyday 52 miles round trip since 2009. The Ac blows cold, the engine and transmission are strong. Its all electric i.e. locks, windows, sunroof. I would rate the body a seven. It has a few scrathes and dings on it but nothing major. The interior is in great shape minus the front 2 bucket seats The leather is cracked so I put 2 seat covers (black) just to make it look extra sharp. The back bench seat is almost like new. It has current Texas inspection exp date 11/11. I would not hesitate to drive the car from Houston to New York city. The only downfalls are the cosmetic blemishes but I think a realiable car is worth more than a pretty car.
