This is a 1998 Plymouth Voyager Mini Van seized by the City of Milford Delaware Police Department in connection with a criminal investigation. The vehicle interior is dirty with stains on carpet and cloth seat material. The interior does not appear damaged, and needs cleaning. Doors open freely, and steering and brakes appear operable. Tires are inflated and tread appears serviceable. Vehicle does not start although it was running at the time it was stopped and subsequently seized. More than likely, the vehicle needs a new battery after being in storage for several months pending Court proceedings. The vehicle will not be repaired in any way prior to delivery. We will provide the name and phone number(s) of area mechanics and towing companies upon request. Buyer may choose to have vehicle removed and repaired at their expense prior to taking possession of vehicle. Vehicle will not be allowed to leave City Property until full payment is made. Exterior paint is shiny, glass is intact and vehicle has numerous dings, dents, and scratches. There does not appear to be any disabling damage. There are no rust through spots on the exterior. Vehicle has 145, 750 miles and has not been used for police service nor has it been used in service by the City of Milford. There is no warranty on the vehicle and buyer is responsible for all charges related to removing same. While we will assist as is reasonable with the loading of the vehicle, we do not provide chains, tie downs, or towing. The City of Milford is unable to take credit cards, and cannot finance. We will not end the auction early to sell the vehicle. High Bidder at the end, gets the vehicle. We accept Cash, Certified Check, Personal Check, or Money Order. The City of Milford Reserves the right to withhold the title of the vehicle until payment can be verified or check(s) clear the bank. Vehicle can be inspected at 400 NE Front Street, Milford, DE 19963, Mon-Fri between the hours of 8:00 AM and 3:00 PM by appointment only. Winning Bidder must make payment and delivery arrangements within 3 days of end of auction. Full Payment is due 7 days from auction close. Vehicle must be removed within 14 days of auction end unless other arrangements are made. Vehicle is sold AS-IS and there is no warranty implied or expressed as to the operating and/or cosmetic condition of this vehicle. Insurance and Registration are the responsibility of the buyer. PLEASE do not simply show up and expect to inspect the vehicle, or take possession of the vehicle.
