Looking for a fun to drive,wind in your hair,easy on gas,classic ride for summer and beyond? Consider my 1970 Volkswagen Convertible from Southern California that has been thoroughly checked out. The 1640cc Dual Port engine has been tuned and runs like new. The exhaust is a Quiet-pack system for a nice muffled sound. Its 4 speed shifter is an after-market unit with reverse lock-out. The bug runs and drives great!We recently totally rebuilt the front suspension on the car,including ball joints,tie rods,shocks and installed a new front disc brake system and new rear brakes. The basecoat/clearcoat white paint, has been applied over a rust-free body, is less than a year old. The German vinyl top is in great condition with no rips or tears, operates smoothly up or down. The black vinyl interior, in the original factory pattern, along with grey carpeting,is new too. I restored this car for my wife but with a hectic schedule, its rarely driven. I have priced this car at half its appraised value for a quick sale.
