I was able to open the rear deck, retract the roof, open the flipper panel and close the rear deck and then reverse to open the rear deck, close the flapper panel and put the top back up. All of this was done at the relays that are behind the rear seat. The switch under the dash only would open the rear deck and the flapper panel, I was told that the limit switches may need to be adjusted or may need to be cleaned or replaced. I believe that the top also needs to be adjusted properly. I do not have any experience on these tops/cars so I did not attempt to do anything. The all important Tub that goes in the trunk area is there and other than surface rust it is in excellent condition, there is no luggage. Condition of car as follows: Trunk area is very nice, no rust in the floor, spare tire area, or at the rear at the bumper. There is rust thru at the left front corner of the opening at the area where the weather stripping would seal the deck to the body, (please go the link below to see over 200 pictures of this car). The floors are in very good condition, there is one very little hole in the floor which in under the rear seat on the left side near the corner of the floor, I took a close up of this area that can be seen at the link below of the pictures. The body is in good condition, the driver’s side has had some body work on it but I cannot tell how much, there are small holes in the quarter panel where a slide hammer may have been used. The seats are there and all the springs appear to be good. I do not have the grill or the front bumper, I do have the bumper guards, (they are not pictured) and will go with the car. It appears that I have all of the stainless steel trim for the windshield, and the front fenders including the gold inserts. I also have good tail lights and misc parts. There is a New windshield that is not installed. Door glass is there and not cracked, one rear glass is cracked and one is not installed in the car but there are good ones that are included in the auction, they can be seen in the pictures on the tarp. This car does not drive, It will have to be trailered or towed, the brakes do not work, It does not run with the original installed carburetor.
