Up for auction is my personally owned phenomenally running Cadillac Allante. I have had this car for over two years now, and it has been garaged and maintained impeccably, and driven with sheer fun and enthusiasm for this "baby ferrari", as this car is inspired by the sports car designer Pina Farina! I am only selling this car because I have lost one of my garages, and need to condense my amount of vehicles. The car runs very smooth. The engine has had all its regular oil changes, and makes no noise and has no leaks. The power steering pump was replaced, and the associated hoses were also replaced. All regular maintenance such as cooling system flushouts, tune ups and tire rotations have all taken place since I have owned the car. She runs and shifts beautifully. The car has a set of brand new tires with only 1000 miles on them. All electronic controls, including the driver information center, work as they should. The car actually gets closet 20 miles per gallon on the open road! The power windows motors, power door locks and trunk pull down and convertible pull downs all work. The anti lock brake module was determined to be defective by the previous owner and it was disconnected leaving a brake default warning sign on the dash. However, the brakes function perfectly and are new all the way around. The car stops with absolutely no problems or delays. This is a common problem with Allantes, and is easily fixed by replacing this part. The convertible top is next to new, with no flaws and is only two years old, and works perfectlly. The interior is good but not perfect. The driver seat lumbar has a slight tear, and a little hole on the left lumbar as the pictures depict. Other than than, the dashhboard, all the digital guages, an all the climate controls works as they should. The AC functions but is only blowing luke cold air, and will definitely need a shot of freon to bring it up to speed. The seat contols work perfectly on the passenger side, but work intermittantly on the drivers side. The factory raido with cassette also works internittantly, as on some occasions and for months it will work wihout fauklt . and then it will not work at all. Currently the radio is working. I only have the convertable top for this car, and do not have the hard top, which is easily findable on ebay. The body is completely straight with no dents and rust, as the detailed pictures indiacte. However, if I was going to keep the car, I would paint her to look flawless. On the right side fender and passenger door the paint is faded and it the top coat looks compounded off. The rest of the car shines up beautifully, and she gets a lot of attention anywhere she is seen. Also, included are the stock Cadillac rims, in mint condition. Mehanically she runs great. and with the summer months pf approaching she needs nothing to drive anywhere in the USA. Turn the key and let her go as she is a joy to drive!
