1985 CORVETTE TARGA TOP Nice corvette here, white with black leather. Has the 4+3 manual transmission. This is a good car with new tires (and we know they aren't cheap) also has a new battery, new plugs, new distributor, cap and rotor, new wires, filters etc. Basically a full tune up. It does start off running a bit rough but if you're familiar with the 85 they do that. Also the 4+3 isn't the smoothest shifting transmission. It takes about 5 min to learn the synchros and then it's smooth sailing from there.There is a brand new carpet in the vehicle The car does need some pretty basic thingsThe front fender has some paint chipping (pictured) as well as the driver door behind the side view mirror (also pictured), the driver seat has a small 2" rip in the seat. I believe the previous owner changed the interior from blue to black hence the new carpet. Looks like it came that way now. There are some trim pieces on the doors needed but nothing that makes the door incomplete. The radio is there but not working (the old owner took out his old setup so its either a fuse or just a power wire). The headlights both work but the driver stopped flipping. Not sure if its the motor or a loose connection. The dash works but after running a bit it does get lighter on one side, so I assume that needs to be repaired. I've listed everything I could think of so hopefully the car will be better than you are expecting. Its still a nice corvette just needs a little love.I started the bidding low and have no reserve, but I do have it for sale locally, so if you're interested don't wait just contact me and make an offer.
