And there are a lot of people watching. The bottom line that I will take for this truck is the starting price of $7800. If it does not sell on eBay for that price I will keep the truck for a work truck. The blue book on this truck is $10500 and at $7800 it is not a bad deal especially with the way this truck runs. It only cost me $50 per month to insure it and is worth more than $7800 I have as a starting price. SO I WILL NOT BE TALKING TO ANYONE AFTER THE AUCTION IS OVER TO TALK ABOUT A LOWER PRICE. THE PRICE IS WHAT IT IS AND QUIT WASTING MY TIME AND YOURS. If you want the truck then bid on it. I don't care either way. I am not trying to be mean but all of these emails (approximately 20 a day) about if it don't sell to call you has to stop. If you contact me after the auction the starting price will still be $7800. Up for auction is a 1999 Ford F-350 Crew Cab Long Bed 4 wheel drive SRW pick up with the 7.3 Powerstroke Turbo Diesel with 185K miles. This truck runs EXCELLENT!!! The only reason I am selling this truck is that I have a 42' fifth wheel camper and because this truck is a standard my wife is too short to change gears, so I had to buy an automatic. I have owned this truck since about 2003 I think. It has not given me a lick of trouble. I will tell you what I know to be wrong with truck. On the drivers side rear quarter panel the clear coat on the paint is gone (see the picture) from having diesel drip on it from a fuel tank that I had installed in the back of the truck. The 4 wheel drive works when engaged manually, there was a vacuum hose that came off on the passenger side hub and if it were replaced should work from inside using the control. The parking brake needs to be adjusted (THE REGULAR BRAKES ARE FINE) it is just the parking brake. This is because I always forget to take the parking brake of and because this truck is so powerful drive it sometimes with the parking brake engaged which wears the pads down. The drivers seat needs to be recovered, right now it has seat covers on it. Other than that it just needs a good cleaning. This truck has a hide away gooseneck, rails for a fifth wheel and bumper pull. Can't think of anything it can't tow. The a/c blows cold. All the power windows and door locks work ( I just had new motors put in them). The cruise control works. It has a Kentwood CD player with a remote. Right now I am offshore and return home on Tuesday May 31 therefore the truck needs to be picked up anytime from June 1 to June 5. The toolbox and diesel tank in the back of this truck is NOT included. If you have any questions please feel free to ask. Please keep in mind that this is a used truck. It is 12 years old and does have normal wear and tear. It is not perfect but it is very reliable and I would have no problem in taking it on a road trip. In fact I have driven it from New Orleans, La to Canada and back with no problems. The tires are probably 80% or better. Anything else your going to have to ask. Immediate $500.00 Paypal deposit required. On the carfax it gives it a good rating but it does say that there is a possibility of storm damage as New Orleans was effected by Hurricane Katrina. This truck was in Ottawa Ontario Canada during Katrina and suffered no damage from it. It was in Canada from February 2005 until October 2005.
