This is a nice original unmolested survivor Z. It is originally from California. I bought the car off Ebay 2 years ago. I have enjoyed it, made it a little better and looking for something different. I am not looking to trade. This is the history the best it was described to me. The car spent it's life in California. A guy from Mississippi purchased it in 2008 for his son, which didn't work out; and then I bought it. The cowl trim tag reads: 80 FP 87L 131802 19R 15L 15U W A51 --- B - 8212237. Which is originally silver with basic black interior. As you can see by the pictures it is a pretty basic one. The am radio is still in place, a modern fm cd player was added in the storage area below. It has factory a/c that works perfectly with no issues. A tilt steering wheel. The car sometime in the past was painted silver blue and then recently back to silver. I have no idea if it's a correct paint code. It is a good and presents well. The striping looks great too. The engine and miles may be original, however I do not have that documented so no claims there. The car is being sold as is, no warranty implied or written. The driver seat has some minor tears in the seam and the clock does not work. Everything else is really nice. Not a trailer queen, but very presentable. I have copies of the old California and Mississippi titles. Please no negative feedback buyers, new ok, just be serious. After payment clears, I can help arrange shipping or pick-up. Yes, it can be driven long distances, but it is a 31 year old car. Birmingham is my airport, about 20 miles away. Here is what I did the last couple of years. 1. Replaced upper left door hinge and color match. New trunk and door/window seals. New Z-28 badging front grill/trunk. New rear package tray with some flush mount speaker grill covers for a clean factory look. New carpet. New dashboard cover. New center console storage area. New sill plates. 2. Brand new tires. 3. Mechanical repairs: New steering gear, alignment, transmission filter kit, water pump, valve covers, new seal for speedometer and tail housing. Oil change This car runs very well, happy bidding and enjoy.
