1985 Dodge van started out as a USAF window van, later given to local sheriff for prisioner transport, then sold to geenhouse supplier for hauling supplies, and then modified into a political sound truck and driven about North Dakota for the last 4 years. Runs great, and only problem I have noticed is that if it sets for several weeks the gas drains/evaporates out of the carburator and you need a few vigerous pumps to start, but that is common for an older van. But other then that she runs great and uses no oil. Tires fair. Muffler, brakes, and other systems checked and updated prior to going on the political road and all are now still fine. When not run as a political sound truck, I have used it occasional for light hauling. The electronics for the sound system have now been removed. I have purchased a newer van and that is the only reason I am selling this one. Inside the van has 2 comfortable captain chairs in front, and has a bench with soft cushon on the rights rear side for setting or snoozing. Will make a rock solid work van for the right party and has lots of miles left in it.
