Here's a good used 1988 Ford Mustang LX Convertible. It's has just over 80k on it and has a 2.3L 4 cyl with a 4 speed auto. It's all ready for summer fun!!!! It starts, runs and drives good, even with a half tank of last year's gas. The head was completely rebuilt less than 5k ago. Unfortunately, the valve cover gaskets seeps in the front corner. Nothing major, just a couple of drips after you drive it; gasket set costs $18 at Advanced Auto Parts. The A/C unit and related parts are intact and complete, but has not been converted to R134. I didn't use it, just put the top down if it was hot outside. Within the last two years, or less than 5k, the fuel pump, rear springs, all four shocks, and anti sway bar bushings have been replaced. Fifteen inch turbine wheels have tires with well over half tread on them. The original 14" rims are available. The exterior has some rust on the lower panels, but the chassis is clean. There's a scrape with dent towards the front of the passenger rear wheel well (see pic). The power top works as intended and is in good overall condition. There's a small, finishing nail size, hole over the back seat; should be easy to patch. The main seam cover, has metal screw tabs at each end, needs to be repaired. The boot is white and is in good condition. It's in the trunk. The interior is white in color and is good condition. The driver's seat was professional recovered last year ($200). The other seats have some wear on the seams, but look good. All of the power windows and locks work good. The Alpine CD stereo was installed last year along with four new two way Pioneer speakers; perfect for cruising. Aside from the valve cover gasket, it needs nothing at this time!!! Starting bid is well below its overall fun value!!!
