RARE 1972 LTD Convertible Original Motor 400 and Transmission Runs and Drives Good New Top (2010) New Paint (2009) This car was bought for me for a wedding anniversary present more than 10 years ago. I cherish my car, and have many great memories. This car is definitely a head turner with it's bright shining paint and new black top. She is in need of new shoes (wheels and tires), and she has been stalling out when she heats up. I cannot afford to maintainence her and purchase the things she needs. I will be very sad to see her go...but realize it is time to pass her along to someone who would cherish her as I do. Other than the stalling out, she is a SOLID car! Last year my husband thought she needed to sound tuff... and cut off her exhaust. She does sound MEAN. Her transmission is also STRONG, she has a get up and go about her. When she drives it it like riding on a cloud, very smooth. Her interior is CLEAN except for tear in front seat, shown in picture. I decided not to set a reserve, so THelma will go to the highest bidder. On May-24-11 at 18:13:14 PDT, seller added the following information: I was told to update my auction. In 2001, new brakes, master cylinder, some brake lines, and the gas tank was restored. The cylinder heads were totally restored with hardened valve seats and new valves. In the last ten years we put roughly 4,000 miles on the car. About 3,999 of those miles we road with the top down. The car was garaged kept since 2001 and has not seen a Michigan winter.
