Here we have the project you've been waiting for -- the affordable 356C project! Disc brake 356Cs have been skyrocketing in value, finding an example that still has a complete braking system in project form is tough. This 1964 356C Coupe was offered in rare Bali Blue color, still visible on the dash and bumpers. Included is a 912 engine that turns over and appears to be in good shape. The engine was set up for a full flow oil system and still has the external oil cooler attached. The body is in fairly good shape but still needs some tweaking. The floors are intact along with the rear seat bottoms and battery box, but expect to find some amateur patching here and there. The same can be said for the outer body. The good news is that you can finish this project up without having to get into a bunch of floor welding. The interior has all the major parts and seats that were covered in a honey colored vinyl, except for one seat bottom that is tan. You have a good platform for a new interior or you can leave it as is. It won't be a concour restoration but you'll be on the road in a gorgeous, fast, disc brake 356 for far less money than people will suspect. On a side note, the previous owner said he bought the car from a production company and the car was rumored to have been used in Buffy The Vampire Slayer, I have not verified this, but if you are a Buffy fan, this could be a great car!
