1994 BMW K-Series

Up for auction is a 1994 BMW K1100LT. Runs and starts well. 87500 miles, 4 cylinder\water cooled, fuel injection. No motor leaks oil or antifreeze, no smoke. Rides well, comfortable. I bought this bike last November from an estate sale, the Gentleman who owned it had passed away. I believe he had bought it new. So I have only ridden it a few hundred miles and haven't had anytime this spring to look into any of the issues. Bought a boxer so this one needs to go. Issues as follows. Bike does have some cosmetic damage, 1 mirror is off, I have it but it is damaged as well is the one on the bike. Fairing has a crack as shown in a picture. Left saddlebag is cracked. Trunk is missing a speaker cover. Windshield is foggy (I look over it). Both side covers below the seat have damage to the latches so they will need zip ties to make sure they stay in place (tabs are broke). some of the switches on the dash do not seem to operate anything or partly work. For instance windshield power switch will work but needs a little help with the windshield going up. Heated grips work just on the left side. Radio powers up but nothing comes out of the speakers not sure on that one? On the last 100 mile trip I took, I noticed that the front master cylinder dripped a couple drops of brake fluid it will need a kit. The ABS brake system does work fine though. There may be other damage that I have not seen but this pretty well covers it as far as I know or have found. Obviously there are other dings, scratches and etc. here and there, the bike is used and has some miles. All of the damage short of the master cylinder dripping is cosmetic only for the most part. In other words ride as is. Tires are about 55-70% good yet. Also included in the auction is a new never been installed REMIS Stainless steel 4 into 1 header exhaust system and new K&N air filter. I understand from the local BMW dealer that the exhaust system alone costs almost $1000.00!!! Title is clear and in my name I will need cash at pickup, no paypal, checks, transfers and etc. CASH ONLY. Pick up should be within a week but I will work with buyer on that and if is a longer period out on the pickup I may require 10% via paypal.
