Vehicle Detail

Ok lessons learned from the last bus I sold over and over. This will be a no reserve auction so if you win it you bought it.So please be sure you want it. It will need some work. Please make sure your significant other won't leave you over the purchase. Check on shipping and ask all questions first. So here is the story. It's a 1972 in pretty close to original shape. The right rear quarter panel appears to have been repainted at one point. The rest I think is all factory. There is rust along the bottom pictured. Very small areas in the front floor pans pictured. The rest of the undercarriage seems solid. I got this from a buddy this time last year. He wanted a snowmobile and I wanted a Bus. He traded a guitar for it. Took it into a repair shop and spent 2000. New carbs clutch pressure plate and brake work.Made the trip back home from the shop and the transmission blew. It then set for about 4 years in his barn. I had my brother haul it to his shop and spent somewhere over 2000 I lost track. Can't remember everything that was done but I think this is the most of it.Cleaned fuel lines and carbs somewhat. I think plugs also. New engine compartment seal. Half shaft boot. New back brakes wheel cylinders too.New shifter clutch cable bowden tube. MOFOCO rebuilt transmission. I'm probably missing something. The interior is all there. Not sure what works and doesn't as far has fridg and sink and all. It is in nice shape for the age. The motor seems strong. I guess I did have all the oil leaks fixed and valves adjusted. The canvas has some holes I was going to cover with dead haead iron on patches and such. There is a crack in the front windshield. The rest of the glass is ok. It needs one mirror. I think most of the electrical is fine but the gas gauge is not working. What I didn't get around to fixing. It has a brake caliper up front hanging up. When my brother strapped it down to haul it he got around the stabilizer shock and bent the piston slightly so it will need to be replaced. The exhaust is a little loud. I think the right manifold has a leak possibly. The htr fan is missing. It's running better than when I parked it but I think the carbs should still be tore down and cleaned out. it has a mid range stumble. After that it should be a good driver and than you can tinker to your hearts desire. I did receive the title but didn't put it in my name as I didn't get as far as driving it more than around town two or three times 50 miles total maybe It is and has been stored inside. I can be reached at 906-494-2693 Peace and love and happy bidding!!!!
