Vehicle Detail
Up for bids is my 1968 Shelby Mustang tribute. It has undergone an extensive restoration and was finished up a few years ago. Listed below are some of the features of the car and most of the things that were completed during the restoration. 351 Cleveland, Edelbrock 650 cfm 4 bbl., Performer manifold, mild performance cam etc. 4 speed toploader transmission with Hurst Super Comp Plus shifter. Traction-lock rearend (I do not know the exact ratio but it is geared more for the highway than the strip). The rearend housing has been stripped and powder coated gloss black with new seals. New upper (lowered 1" the same as the 1965 and 1966 Shelbys for more aggresive handling) and lower control arms. Front end alignment just done to 1966 Shelby GT-350 Specs. New Magna performance sway bars front and rear. New KYB shock all around. New polyurethane bushings throughout. New brakes, cyls. pads, drums, etc. New B. F. Goodrich radial T/A`s . New headliner, carpet and upholstery. Pretronix pointless ignition. Body, trunk and engine compartment stripped to bare metal and refinished with 2 stage urethane. All the Shelby fiberglass pcs. were purchased new with the exception of the 2 corner ducktail endcaps. Battery relocated to the trunk. Bolt in frame connectors. Export brace. Powder coated roll bar. New dual exhaust with turbo mufflers and quad tips. The original seats are availible to the winning bidder at no extra cost. All the lights, signals, horn, etc. function properly and the vehicle has passed the Massachusetts safety inspection. Over $25000.00 total invested in the car. The car is very solid. It has been driven very little since it was finished. The 351 runs good. I was planning on installing a hotter engine but plans have changed and I don`t like to see it sit so I have decided to sell it. Please ask all questions before bidding and bid only if you have the funds availible to follow through with the transaction. Thanks. Good luck bidding!!!
