1963 Buick Riviera (The true American classic) With: original Wildcat 445 cubic inch V8 I have an antiquity company in the middle of Texas. We specialize in fine antiques and collectibles. Once in a while my customers turn in a classic automobile or motorcycle. This is one of those items: We received this beautiful 1st year Riviera from an estate of a lady whom she and her husband were the only owners of the car. The old lady who had it parked the car in 1996 in her garage when she was 80 years old and could no longer drive and didn’t let anyone touch the car until we received the car from her estate. The car comes with a Wildcat 445, V8 automatic and is loaded. The car is in excellent shape, but please remembers that it is not a hundred point car. The car comes with an original clear Texas title and many other related documents. We sent the car to a mechanic. This is what he did: He sent the gas tank out for cleaning. He replaced all the fuel hoses. He replaced the fuel filter. He replaced the fuel pump. He overhauled the original carburetor. He replaced the water pump. He replaced the point condenser, spark plugs, wires, and air filter (complete tune up). He replaced the oil and the filter. He drained and cleaned the gas tank. He changed all the fluids and installed a new battery. and the old girl came to life. We have all the receipts Since the car was a 100% original Texas car (absolutely zero rust), we sent it out to get a new paint job. They took the paint to bare metal and it was repainted. The car also has new carpet. Then it went to the paint shop. They took all the chrome off. They took the entire interior out. They replaced the carpet. They sanded the car to bear metal. The painted the car Glacier Blue (Manufactured by GM) The paint is Acrylic Enamel. We have all the receipts The car has: Clear Texas title 100% Rust Free Texas car with a clear Texas title A 455 Wildcat engine Automatic transmission Tilt steering wheel Posi traction Corner lights Power seats Sonomatic am/fm radio with push button The original trunk and the original spare tire and cover. Air conditioner Original Key New carpet New paint New tune up and oil change New plugs, fluid, wires, everything Washer fluid bottle 4-Note horn The original paint job was white and we changed it to the factory light blue It has the original Wild Cat rims from the factory. There is no problem with any of the chrome All the lights and signals work The trunk still has all the original material that came with the car in 1963 There is no crack on the dash, and the seats look good. The car’s interior is in very good shape with brand new carpet, and new front seats. The radio and everything inside works perfectly. The only thing on the car that we have not changed, and need to be changed eventually, is the tires. 1963 Buick Rivera with a Wild Cat 445 engine. It is automatic, with air conditioning, power steering, power brake, completely loaded. Brand new paint job less than three weeks, they took it to bare metal.
