1997 Dodge Grand Caravan ESThis vehicle would make an excellent parts vehicle, or could be repaired. The van starts and runs great. But the transmission is in "Limp In Mode", and is showing improper gear ratio in 2nd and 4th on the diagnostics machine. Body is in fair condition. There are some rust places, and some dents and dings. 3.8 V6 engine runs excellent. There is no smoke, and it does not use oil. The oil has always been changed regularly, and has had synthetic high mileage oil for quite some time. It has many new suspension parts such as... wheel bearings, rotors, front and rear brakes, tie rod ends, sway bar linkage, struts and shocks. All of this was put on with in the last 6 months by a professional repair shop. It has leather interior. 4 captains chairs, and a bench seat. The leather is in fair condition. There are no rips. There is some wear on the driver seat. It has 16" alloy wheels. A/C and CD player are not working properly. This vehicle is used, and sold as is. There are mechanical problems with the transmission. There is no warranty. This vehicle can not be driven. It only operates in low and reverse gears. (This is the "limp in mode".) If you have questions, or need more information, please contact me.
