Of 45,461 Camaros built in 2000, 20,419 were Z28s and just 3,036 of those were convertibles. Using the same math, (with a little extrapolation) not quite half of the 618 Sebring Silver convertibles produced were Z28s. That's less than 300 cars folks and none of them can compare to the dazzling, almost pristine condition of this thundering 4th gen. From its spectacular Sebring Silver body to its beautiful Ebony interior, this does not look or function anything like a used car. That is why we chose this Z28 convertible; because it is the highest quality, finest condition 2000 Z28 convertible extant. This Camaro is that good. Viva Las Vegas Automotive Boot Camp: With a car this nice, it's easy to overlook whatever insignificant flaws there may be. There's a pencil eraser size chip on the passenger interior door handle and the driver's inboard seat bolster is a little worn. That's it. The engine bay is clean/dry, the undercarriage is spotless, nothing is broke, everything works. Again; this Camaro is that good. What was done to this Camaro before we got it: Somewhere along the line it acquired the larger SS wheels wearing expensive Nitto rubber, an XM satellite radio and the sweetest sounding Flowmaster exhaust system you have ever heard. The new convertible top and dark tinted windows are the only other things that seem to have been done to this topless silver bullet. What we've done this car: 130pt Top to Bottom Inspection, Exquisitely Detailed Every Square Inch, Took Calendar Style Photographs, Produced a Motivational Video and put it on eBay. Other Than That, We didn't do a Damn Thing! Research/background, what was said about the Z28 when new, what people are saying now: When Chevy dropped the Corvette's LS1 in the Camaro, an instant legend was born and world class acceleration had arrived in the lowly F-bod. The LS1 was (is) incredible and there were even a few documented cars (magazine tests) that blistered the quarter mile in the high 13s, bone stock. With a top speed just shy of 160 MPH, an LS1 powered Camaro is not a child's plaything; it goes where it's pointed and it gets there in one hell of a hurry. You don't want to goose this thing on an onramp sweeper with the traction control off; this Z28 barks, bites and does not let go. It's beautiful back here and you can see the Flowmaster too. Wow, what a great angle, showing how smooth and pretty this steed's flanks are. With a windshield laid back 68 degrees, this Z28 cuts a stunning top-down profile. (check out those spectacular SS wheels) Ebony cloth interior looks nearly new and has a dash-topper too. Driver's seat is 8-way power adjustable and every way comfortable. 59,216 original miles means this Z28 (with a brand new convertible top) has traveled barely 5 thousand miles a year since new.
