1978 Honda CB

I bought this bike last fall with dreams of making a café or superbike out of it but reality (and track season) has set in and I think something more modern would be a better fit for me (heart says Street Triple, wallet says SV650). I’ve been riding it around town but it needs someone with more knowledge than me to get the carburetor’s right. The bike is an awesome survivor with only 10,828 miles. It gets all sorts of complements when I ride it. The Mac exhaust sounds like WWII on wheels. The only original part I don’t have is the muffler (I’ve got the headers and handlebars). I disassembled and cleaned the carburetors and put in a gasket kit with float needles over the winter. I also changed the plugs, choke cable and fuel filter, cleaned the inside of the gas tank and set the valves. I just installed new throttle cables (I also have a new clutch cable) and changed the oil and filter a couple of weeks ago. I have two keys, the original owner's manual and tool kit plus a Clymer manual. The owner before me replaced the coils, wires and chain. The owner before him rebuilt the forks and steering bearing and installed Bridgestone Spitfires. One of the two installed new brake pads and a clutch cable.
