Vehicle Detail

Up for sale is my 1993 Audi 100. This car is an automatic and it has 202400 miles on it. I have driven this car for over 7 years and the time has come to pass her on. The car is currently still being driven between Manhattan and Jersey City, I encourage you to come out and take a look/drive before you buy. I am from NH so most of the miles are highway. I would not hesitate to drive this car anywhere, it is smooth sailing at cruising speeds. The rear seats in the car are black leather as well as all of the door skins. I had originally installed all leather interior but didn't like the front seats so i replaced them with the fabric seats. The interior is almost perfect. No rips in the seats, original floor mats up front, and very clean. No cracks in the dash and all of the gauges work fine. A Kenwood CD player has been installed and the speakers all work. The wiring is all there for subwoofers in the trunk, I only removed the power cable, amp, and subs. The tires still have good tread left on them and the spare tire is in the trunk. All of the electric windows work. Here are the issues: The engine leaks a little bit of oil so I just put an extra quart in every month or so. The engine motor mounts are worn down so at lower speeds the car feels a little bit shakey but again, this is only at slower speeds. The car was keyed many years ago down the passenger side. The gauge cluster flashes 3 errors: Brakes, Temp, and Headlight. The brake sensor was damaged, so the error isn't for the actual brakes. The temp gauge is for the ambient temp, and that stopped working a long time ago (the engine temp gauge still works). The headlight error is also a sensor that is broken, because both headlights work fine. The car has dents that you would expect in a car of its age. Every corner has been scraped and bumped, some worse than others. The front bumper sags on the drivers side because of a broken clip. The paint on the hood and roof is very badly oxidized. If you take the time to wax and buff the car it will shine but as soon as water gets on the car it will become a dull white very quickly. The headliner in the car has fallen down. Its all still there but is sagging. One of the rims is missing. There is almost no rust on the car but it has a few spots where it is on the surface. Overall this is still a solid car that you don't see very often. The body style is the same as the A6 that came after it. The oxidation in the paint is a widespread issue for this year and model. Again, I would not hesitate to drive this car anywhere in the US. I would be happy to deliver the car for a fee. Let me know if you want to come and drive the car. Also if you would like any more pictures or description just ask! I will respond to all emails very quickly. Being sold AS IS with no warranty. On May-12-11 at 08:25:56 PDT, seller added the following information:A couple of notes I wanted to add to the description since I have been getting some questions. The AC does need to be recharged. There are two more lights I forgot to mention on the dash. The check engine light intermittently comes on, typically on longer trips. Also the ABS light is on, although I have never had an issue with the brakes. I have installed a line in cable to the back of the Kenwood so you can easily plug in your iPod or other audio device. The transmission shifts smooth every time and she starts on the first try every time. As always I am trying to be as descriptive as possible! Let me reiterate, anyone that wants to come and see the car just let me know. I would be happy to describe in more detail any aspect of the car or take more pictures. Keep the questions coming and I will continue updating the description as necessary. Thanks for looking and happy bidding!
