1969 ford galaxy 500 2 door sport roof or fast back,was a father son project.We installed another 390 out of a 72-73 ford 4 wheel pickup (great running salvage yard engine)Rebuilt carburator all new fluids and high volume oil pump.Full tune up and all battery ground cables new and rebuilt starter and relay.New motor mounts exhaust man to pipe seals.Sadly dad passed 10-25 so someone else can takeover what we started.Car runs great tranny is going into gear,also new converter seal installed.Solid car trunk floors frame all good.Needs a vacum booster .Can get master& booster as one unit any auto parts (checked) .And rear window and driver door glass.A little rust hole in roof very small though.Dual exhaust out the back great vintage muscle to have.Not many galaxys have this roof as it was designed primarily for the XL line.A/C P/S P/B optional rim blow steering wheel,.Body very good was a South Carolina car,for the price it's a turn key car that needs paint and some interior work and will be awesome.Sold as is where is buyer to arrange shipping and pay for pickup.Thanks and I hope someone finishes it,thanks.Also passenger door not opening,I think it needs penetrating lube spray.That's everything I Know about her and previous family owned it for about 19 yrs.Also New Water Pump.While changing oil pan (Truck Pan To Car)and installing High Volume pump I noticed engine Clean inside,I believe it may be an older rebuild.Odometer more than Likely turned over and is not the millage on the engine.Another good thing about this swap this engine burns Unleaded so no need to run additive or change valve seats.5-9-11 Bought a new Napa Fuel Pump.This Car is turn key everything done,no leaks oil burning,none of that.I am running it of a separate gas can,tank is 42yrs didn't want to clog rebuilt Carburator.Places like MAC's antique auto parts have new tanks along with a lot of others.New issued Title too.Why get some thing and still have to get it running? Ive replaced all major things.Also ran Illuminated toggle switch for coil,Car starts with key though.
