1981 Honda GL 500I Silverwing

It is with much regret that I put my 1981 Honda GL 500I Silverwing up for auction. I purchased it approximately seven years ago with the intention of returning to riding after 20+ years. The return to riding has not happened and I have ridden it maybe a half a dozen times since purchasing it. This "Wing" is in great shape for a 30 year old bike. It runs great like a Silverwing should, electricals are fine and the seat is perfect. The bike has some small minor nicks and scratches as well as a dent in the gas tank which was there when I bought it. Also the cowling behind the second seat is cracked but the seat itself is perfect. The bike has always been garaged and any serious work such as the fork seals have been done by my friend who is a CX 500/Silverwing guru. Here is a list of goodies: Brand new tires front and rear Brand new OEM mufflers, I also removed the exhaust collector, removed the rust and coated it with POR 15 Black Velvet heat resistant paint Brand new battery New fork seals (no leaks) New front brakes, Calipers were taken apart, cleaned, new seals as well as new pistons installed Carbs were taken apart and cleaned New choke cable New spark plugs and valves adjusted New fairing windscreen (still have the old one) Other small stuff I can't even remember I have the original owner's manual and tool kit as well as the Clymers manual and the original workshop manual on cd. I have a bunch of odds and ends that I have accumulated over the years as well as a crate of parts including cylinder heads and other stuff.
