Vehicle Detail
2002 BMW 530i, auto, 130k miles WBADT63432CK26509 Selling this car for my older brother; he lived in Atlanta, but now has moved to Switzerland. The car is currently in Houston in a hanger at a small private airport, and he’s asked me to sell it because he’s not going to come back to the US anytime soon. I have all the service records from 2004, and I have a signed title ready for transfer to new owner. The car has Georgia plates and a Georgia title. Two sets of keys. He bought his car in 2004 from an Atlanta BMW dealer as a Certified Pre-Owned car. He’s been the only owner/driver since that time. He doesn’t smoke, he doesn’t have kids, and he’s very detail-oriented. Well-cared for and well-maintained – had all major services done (30,000 mile, 60,000 mile and 90,000 mile) on time. No issues – everything works. No check engine lights, always passes inspection, Michelin tires were installed with 111k miles on odometer, AC works great, always starts. No accidents but one dent (see picture). Original paint everywhere. Interior is clean. Drives straight. No vibrations. Never had any mechanical issues – has always been a reliable car. The car is in an airplane hanger on the west side of Houston; if you’d like to see it, I can arrange to meet you prior to auction close. If you win the auction and the car isn’t as I’ve said it is, then we can cancel the deal. Email me with any questions. EDIT: I went through the records last night; the 90k service (done in 2007) consisted of changing EVERY fluid, EVERY filter, running cleaning solutions through the fuel and cooling systems, new brakes all the way around (pads and rotors), new valve cover gasket, transmission filter, and new drive belt ($2900 worth of stuff in all). In addition, on April 29, 2010 (10k miles ago), he had the water pump, thermostat, and hoses replaced. I also drove the car around today (first time), and found out that the passenger seat won't recline - it moves forward, back, up, and down, however. Other than that, I found no issues - drives great, straight, and stops very well.
