For sale is great find, a 1-owner 1982 Honda CB750F "Super Sport" with only 9,074 miles! Is it perfect?......no. Is it junk?......definitely not. Let me explain what's for sale. As you can tell by my E-Bay history, I buy & sell a fair amount of motorcycles. I came across this bike from a man in his 50's who said he bought it brand new in 1982 from a Honda dealer in Lexington, Ky & it's always been garage kept. He has other motorcycles as well so the mileage stayed quite low. Other than an added crash bar, it's 100% bone stock....that alone makes it pretty cool! It's been sitting for a few years and to sell it, he had the carburetors dismantled, professionally cleaned, new gaskets installed and then everything was set to specs and properly synchronized. The bike starts easily & runs well. There doesn't appear to be any oil leaks & it doesn't smoke either. About 10 years ago, the man painted the bike & to me, the quality of the paint is just OK, not ugly, not flawless. He says it's never been damaged, wrecked or fallen over. The title is free & clear & now in my name. The title shows the miles to be accurate (9,074 miles). The rear tire has been changed only once and it the replacement tire does show some early stages of cracking. I replaced the front tire with a brand new Dunlop a few days ago. The exhaust is factory and is in unusually good condition-no leaks. The front brake seems to work just fine but the back brake will need rebuilding. The bike does have a brand new Saddleman seat cover. I might drive it around a little, so the mileage could change slightly. *This is a nice low-budget bike in decent shape, mechanically & cosmetically!
