1975 Honda CB

I am reluctantly selling my CB400F. This is the first and most desirable year of the model run, and this bike runs and looks like it just rolled out of the factory. It has been taken care of by Charlie's Place in San Francisco and Charlie has told me it is the nicest original CB400F he's seen. When I bought it about a year ago, it ran well and looked great but I took it to him anyway to go through end to end. He ended up sprucing it up (new tires, new battery, general tune-up, fluids, installed electronic ignition, installed new solid state regulator/rectifier unit, etc.) at a cost of about $1000 and I have ridden it for several thousand miles since (including to Sun Valley, ID and back) without any issues. The bike has 12,000 or so original miles and retains its original paint, chrome, seat cover, exhaust and suspension set-up, etc. The six speed transmission shifts easily; the bike is quiet and smooth under 5,000 RPM but really gets into its power band above that. It cruises on the highway at 70 no problem (even riding two-up) but it's most at home in the twisties. It's a smaller, lighter bike than most so works well for a small/medium sized rider.
