A rare 2 WD Chevy Blazer from sunny Florida that comes from the factory with full coil spring suspension all around for a very smooth car-like ride-not like its 4X4 brothers which uses buckboard-style leaf springs! Also has the factory economical and reliable inline 250 CI 6 cylinder engine with 110 HP, which starts right up,runs smooth and quiet. The engine is coupled to a manual floor mounted all-syncro 3 speed transmission. Power steering and power front disc brakes and newer radial tires make this an easy truck to drive. She runs and drives great! The truck also has a much lower ride height than a 4X4 allowing the occupants easy entry/exit without the need of running boards or other assists. The 2-layer fiberglass top is removeable for a fun convertible truck. With the top in place you have a safe, secure lockable area for your belongings. This Blazer was ordered from the factory as a commercial 2-seater vehicle without the optional rear seat. There are no provisions or mounting locations in the rear area to attach any additional seating. Chevy only produced 3350 2 WD Blazers in 1972 which is very low compared to a production of over 44,000 4WD versions. This is not a show truck but would make a great daily driver or a week-end chore chaser. The interior is nice- no rips or tears in the blue vinyl bucket seats. The original spare tire rack with a newer radial spare tire, is still in place behind the driver. The truck also is equipped with the optional dash gauge package. The paint is shiny and looks good from 10 feet away. Floors,body and frame are very solid. However,she does have a few minor rust issues you would expect being 40 years old. The truck was well maintained by its previous owners over those past 40 years of service.
