2008 Honda XR

Up for bid is a 2008 Honda XR 650L dual sport motorcycle. I am the first and only owner of this bike and also the only person to ever ride it. There is a clear title in hand, paid cash when I bought it two years ago. Reason for selling: two bikes now, one needs to go. This motorcycle is very fast, economical (45+mpg), perfectly maintained, and a blast to ride. I do all of my own maintenance (besides tires) by the book and often times before the recommended scheduling. All this bike has ever seen is 93 octane gas and Mobil 1 synthetic oil. Over this past winter I had both the front and rear tires replaced with 80%street/20%dirt dual sport tires. This bike has never been trail ridden outside of local dirt roads. Originally the side covers and the front headlight housing were white but I painted them black with spray-on truck bed liner. I think it gives it a very clean look with just the two colors. With gas over $4.00 a gallon, this makes a great commuter bike. That was the main reason I bought it in 2008. There are almost 2500 miles on the bike.
