Vehicle Detail

Triumph TR-6 Convertible English Roadster!   Up for auction is my 1974 Triumph TR6. This car is in good condition with no major issues. We bought this car for $11,000 around 7 years ago. The car has been our summer shore car and is very reliable! We have invested over $3,000+ in repairs/upgrades. These upgrades consist of a professionally rebuilt transmission, clutch, rebuilt rear (from TR5 with a 3.4 axle ratio), steering rack, tie rods, breaks, master cylinder and new red-line tires with very rare original beauty rims. The Stromberg carburetors and front-end have been completely overhauled. The engine runs super strong! No smoke! The odometer reads 39,324 but honestly we really don’t know… the previous owner said it was original miles. We drove this car dozens of time to the NJ shore! The top is in excellent shape and comes with a top boot cover. Interior is in good shape, no holes in the seats… the carpet is a little worn but overall its in great shape. The dash and wood dash panel are in excellent shape. The speedometer needle has broken and the gage will need to be replaced but all other gages work fine. Radio isn’t hooked up but its all there… ***Please note*** that the car’s steering wheel will be replaced with the original because it was a gift to my husband for his 40th. As for the body it’s very solid. The floor and trunk pans are solid. Frame is solid. There are some bubbles forming on the passenger side quarter panel but they having come through yet. We have always keep the car garaged kept… as long as you do I’m sure it wont be an issue for a few years.  The paint is shinny, the previous owner repainted it…   Please ask ALL questions prior to bidding. I described the car the best that I could. Locals are welcomed to see the car prior to bidding. The car is being sold “as is”. If you need to see more pictures please ask. The car is priced to sell, selling it well below what we paid for it! We just welcomed our second baby and the car just isn’t practical for a family of 4. Happy bidding! LOW RESERVE!! On May-05-11 at 04:19:55 PDT, seller added the following information: Paint and Trim Codes are as follows: Paint 72 (Pimento Red), Trim 63 (Chestnut). Check out the link that I used. http://www.trregistry.com/start/registry/html/painttrimcodes.php The previous owner(s) have made the changes.
