I am selling my 1981 Pontiac firebird/trans am. This car has been a project of mine for the past 9 months and with a baby now its not realistic ( according to my wife ) This car is in great shape!!! Below is what I have done to the car and what is left to do….------- ALL NEW -brand new chevy 350 .30 over ( this engine has a 2 year warranty by the installer) -rebuilt RT 700 transmission ( also under warranty for 2 years ) - brand new radiator -new water pump - all new TRUE DUAL exhaust from engine back ( flowmasters ) -brand new edelbrock carburetor - ALL NEW REAR END 3.73 gears, and POSI - new front center link - all new lower and upper ball joints - new idle arm many more suspension updates ( all receipts will show and explain and all under warranty ) the total for the above is $8865.11 ALL THE ABOVE WORK IS BRAND NEW AND HAS NO MORE THEN 25 miles on ANYTHING. I have had the vehicle in the shop getting all the work done for past 3 months and just drove the car back home. RUNS UNREAL The paint job was redone several years ago and is about 90% perfect. The car looks great as you can see from the pictures, the tires are in fantastic shape. THINGS THE CAR NEEDS: - windshield has 2 cracks on driver side lower corner - the interior is solid but I would spend a little money to have it match the quality of the car. - The guages in the car are funky ( like most of these cars ) this can be fixed for around $500.00 if its important to you. Mechanically this car is almost perfect, this car is a head turner and is so close to being one HELL of a ride, if your looking for the perfect trans am from the 80’s this is it.
