Vehicle Detail
Up for sale is my 1995 Mustang GT Convertible with a Saleen body kit. These pictures are old ones from about two months ago when I bought it, but the condition of the car is still the exact same with a couple of changes to some cosmetics that I didn’t really care for. The car was from AZ and there is no rust anywhere on it. It is in excellent condition!! You will not find a cleaner one in this condition. The headlights have been swapped out for stock clear lenses which look way better, the saleen stickers were removed because whoever put them on before I bought the car, put them on backwards and in the wrong location. Plus the car isn’t really a Saleen, so I just removed them. The only other changes were to the inside, and I replaced the stupid looking aftermarket steering wheel with a stock one and replaced the shift knob with a white hurst shift ball. I included a couple pics of these changes from my cell phone, so quality isn’t good, but you will at least be able to see these changes. The car has been lowered with KYB shocks and struts and FMS lowering springs. It has brand new tie rods, and brand new rear upper control arm bushings that I replaced within the last 200 miles. The other ones were worn out and making noise, so they were replaced. The car also has a brand new heater core and I have the $912 receipt to prove it was done about a month ago at a Ford dealership. The rims and tires have about 3000 miles on them and look like they are brand new still. The top is in excellent condition with no tears, holes, or leaks and has the glass back window. The car has the tried and true 5.0 motor with a T5 tranny. The engine has a cold air intake, BBK chrome headers, an x-pipe, and Flowmaster mufflers. The car sounds incredible! The smog pump has been removed, and it has new plugs, FMS 8.8 wires, new cap, new rotor, and brand new coil. The engine runs perfect! I also installed a brand new battery a couple of weeks ago.The car has 161,000 miles on it but the engine has been freshened up and rebuilt about 40,000 miles ago. When I bought the car, the previous owner said the clutch was replaced about 12,000 miles ago and it still feels like it has plenty of bite left. I also replaced the U-joints on the drive shaft as well because the old ones were worn out and making vibration. The brakes only have 2,000 miles on them and I installed drilled and slotted rotors as well. They look really nice and stop the car on a dime! The windows as you can see too have been tinted. The inside of the car is so so nice! It looks amazing for its age. There is absolutely nothing wrong on the inside. Every single thing works on the car. All the gauges and all the power options including the drives seat work perfectly. The A/C blows ice cold and the heat blows hot. The power windows, locks, mirrors, and power convertible top all work great. It has a full set of billet knobs as you can see. All of the buttons on the inside of the car are billet which look really nice, and white face guages were added to go with the aftermarket AutoMeter Phantom guages and the white shifter ball. Also, the aftermarket radio in the car has an ipod connection hidden in the glovebox and it can be fully controlled with the receiver. The Sirius satellite is also good for another three months and of course comes with the car. I think that covers it all. I may have left something out, but if there are any questions, please give me a call. The only reason I am selling the car is because I am moving back the east coast and already have a truck there. I came out to Seattle to work temporarily for 4 months and just bought this car to play around with and have fun with. I enjoy working on cars and so this one got a lot of attention while I have had it. You will definitely not be disappointed with this car at all and you will get looks from everybody!! Chris 425-350-9675On Apr-25-11 at 17:29:51 PDT, seller added the following information: I wanted to add a couple things about the engine rebuild.... It was a complete rebuild. The enigne came out of the car and was completely torn down. It got new pistons, bearings, rings, etc.....the heads were taken off and they got new valves and seals, new springs and rockers. Everything was replaced with new OEM stock parts. The engine runs great, doesnt smoke at all even under hard acceleration, and has never burned a drop of oil. It also has a new water pump, and new timing chain, as well as a new alternator about 3,000 miles ago. I dont have any paperwork for this, but you will be able to tell the difference between a 40,000 mile engine and a 160,000 mile engine. The title for the car is with my bank because I ended up taking a small loan out for it. It is clean and clear and I even have a photocopy of the AZ state title I recieved when I purchased the car. I kept all of that paperwork for documentation. After payment for the car, I found out that it will take 1-2 weeks for the title to be sent back to me (my bank is in Florida) or to the new owner. If this is not okay, please retract your bid if you have placed one or let me know and I will retract it for you. The car has a temp tag on it until May 30th, so as long as you have insurance on the car, it is completely legal. I am an up front person and and the new owner will get a billof sale, all the paperwork that I got when I purchased the car, along with a copy of my Florida driver license since it will take 1-2 weeks for the title to arrive.
