UP FOR AUCTION IS A RARE, ALL ORIGINAL 1967 BMW R60/2 WITH A SIDE CAR FRAME. IT HAS BEEN SITTING FOR MANY YEARS AND STILL HAS ITS ONE OWNER 1967 TITLE. THE COVERS WERE REMOVED AND INSPECTED. THE CHARGING SYSTEM IS ALL GOOD. IT DOES NEED TWO PISTONS WITH A 1MM OVERSTOCK BORE. THE TANK IS PERFECT INSIDE AND OUT, ABSOLUTELY NO RUST. I am not a BMW expert. I am passing on the information that was given to me. It was pointed out to me that the valve cover on the bike is not the correct one, but they are readily available. I have added more pictures that have been asked for. I will continue to answer all questions to the best of my ability. Please keep in mind this is a 44 year old cycle, that has been sitting for some time.On May-06-11 at 18:18:09 PDT, seller added the following information: With all of the attention the bike has received, I thought I'd better do some more homework on it. As I stated before, I received the bike in trade and was told how rare it was. It is complete and it is an old bike. But not being an expert on the bike I didn't know an accurate price to set the reserve at. After speaking to so many people I felt that the reserve was a few hundred dollars high. So, I have lowered the reserve that amount. Good luck.
