Vehicle Detail

1980 Red Corvette Low Reserve Have to Many projects must Sell. If you are looking for a new Corvette go to the dealer this is a project car with lots of potential but needs restoring. Here's the good: Bought this Corvette 18-months ago to completely restore. This car appears to be all original which is why I bought it. Here's what I've completed: Replaced with all new parts: New brakes(front and rear), Calipers, Slotted rotors, brake lines, wheel Bearings, Master Cylinder, Power Booster. Front shocks, Fuel Pump. Had the Original Rockchester Quadra-jet carb. completely rebuild from a special carb. shop (spent $325 on the carb) All body bushings. Tires are brand new less than 100 miles on the tires. Complete tune up: Plugs, wires, rotor, cap etc. Replaced the upper and lower control arms including upper and lower ball joints. All new front suspension rebuilt: bushings, tie rods, sway bar bushings etc. I have removed the spoiler kit but can be installed. Now for the Bad: Paint is shot, needs to be painted. Interior is all original but needs to be updated. Pictures will tell the story, seats are torn and the carpet shows the 30-year wear and tear. Exhaust needs to be replaced. Car runs fine but still needs some engine work, I had planned on replacing the water pump and other parts as well. Not sure if the Air condition works it needs a new wiring harness. I checked the compression and it appears to be within tolorance but I was planning on have the heads reworked. I bought the car from a guy in Georgia that bought from the original owner but the car sat for a long time so some seals are leaking slightly. The power steering control valve and cylinder needs to be rebuilt or replaced it does leak. I have tried to capture all that I know about the car if you have other specific questions please contact me David) @ 704-791-2226, text or email @ littlejohns@carolina.rr.com
