Vehicle Detail
Up for sale is my 1984 Mustang Hatchback. This is a factory t-top, five speed, v8 mustang. I sold this car to a friend who took the front and rear bumpers and the interior off the car. The idea was going to be to adapt the car to the newer foxbody bumpers and interior. It does still have the original 84 dash. The factory 302 runs fine, but did smoke a little bit. Has a almost new alternator. The 8.8 rearend is stock but also had no issues along with no leaks. The car also has welded in subframe connectors installed. The rear shocks and quads are missing, but does have fairly new struts. There are no pics of the doors but the car does come with the original doors. They are not in great shape, but could be used until better ones were found. I got the car back with out the missing parts and a few other things. Everything in the pictures is included along with the doors. I will do my best to answer any questions as quickly as I can. Unfortunately with the state I received the car back it is up in the air if someone would want to do the work to fix it into a driver/race car or just for parts. What you may not be able to see is that the wiring has been cut at the firewall and there is no transmission or driveshaft. So the harness from the firewall forward is missing. The body is in pretty good shape except for a few spots. There are two spots on the passenger side floor and the inner fenderwell where the battery must have been overcharged or something and the acid ate away at it. I made sure I took pictures of these areas. Reserve is set very cheap in the hopes that someone can maybe fix it up or at least be able to use the parts for something else. A shame that a factory t-top car has gotten to this point but I just don't have the time or money to fix it up. Please ask and questions as what is included or not if there is any questions.
