1979 toyota pickup longbed 4x4 original & stock; i am the second owner, bought this truck in arizona from the original owner's son in an estate sale. drove it home from arizona to colorado springs without a hitch. the condition of the truck is very good with no rust, no damaged panels and a remarkable interior. there are come cracks on the dash and the bed has the usual knocks from stuff sliding around inside it. the camper shell does not lock and has leaked in the past, so there is panelling inside that needs to be replaced. i have carpet but it's not installed. the seat has been reupolstered. i had an empi 32/36 carburator installed with a header both from north west off road. have the original smog stuff that goes with truck . have a 5 speed trans from an '86 4runner you can have. smog is currently not on the truck. a/c blows cold. has power steering. the mileaage is original although i do not have any documentation because the son could not find his father's records. the truck runs well but does have a oil leak. the front axle has been rebuilt along with the wheel bearings being redone. it has a 20 r motor 4spd trans good rubber and brakes. you could drive cross country rite now. the gearing is original. the radio is orig am/fm and works, but not well, think it needs speakers and repair. i also have a new tailgate painted flat black that has never been installed. has a slider hitch never used; extra gas tank that i do not use; that's pretty much it; good luck and hope this baby goes to some one who will not cut the crap out of it, cause she is a jewel thanx tom ps i have the truck for sale locally so this listing could become a moot subject
