Vehicle Detail

1988 Dodge Diplomat Up for auction is my 1988 Dodge Diplomat police package sedan. She's got 89,900 original miles at the time of this listing, and is well equipped for a police model. She's got the 318 V-8, automatic transmission, with power windows, power door locks, and power seats, which all work fine. She's also got cold air conditioning, which I just repaired and charged. There is nothing wrong with the car, in fact I've used it as a daily driver the past month. The body is in good condition, it has been repainted what appears to be the original color some time in the past. There are some small door dings, a blemish in the paint on the trunk lid (as in the photo) and a very minor amount of rust, a small area can be seen behind the driver side rear wheel. Overall very good shape for a 1988. The interior is nice as well, with the seats, carpet, and headliner all reflecting a well-cared for 89,000 mile car. There are two small blemishes on the top portion of the driver seat, as seen in the photo. Also, the 'Salon' emblems on the front door panels are missing. Otherwise, she's very nice and comfortable. Mechanically, she's very tight, and has a new Edelbrock 4bbl, with new SBM ignition and ECU, all from Summit. All the original equipment goes with the car as well, it was all functioning fine, the previous owner just wanted to 'upgrade'. She is quick. The only problems I'm aware of is a squeaky torsion bar on the front (which will not seem to go away at any effort!) and she is cold-natured with that carburetor: once she's at operating temperature, she performs flawlessly. She has all police package goodies, such as certified speedometer, heavy duty suspension, steel wheels, etc., yet all the comforts of a personal car. As best I can tell, she was a detective model, the paperwork indicates she was originally from Mission, Kansas Police Department. I am offering my Dodge at no reserve, so please bid responsibly. Please ask any questions prior to bidding, and I reserve the right to end the auction early, as I've got the car for sale locally as well. Thank you for your interest.
