This gorgeous two tone cruiser turned heads when it was new and even today. It was the car dad took you on vacation in. It was the car with loads of room but your brother still had to hog "your side" for a thousand miles. She was restored about 10 years ago and garage kept. Sweet paint job with special touches for the car buff. Finished trunk interior with blue led lights, under body leds. Seats were refurbished in the black vinyl of the day. The aftermarket CD is tucked away neatly in the glove box to keep the original dash look. The previous owner and his wife took it to the drive-in car club each weekend. Throaty exhaust lets everyone know what you have under the hood. Though the car doesn't have the original '55 engine, it has been blessed with a Chevy 350ci engine from the 80's. For the past few years it has had only sporadic use and we need to get it to a home that will use it frequently. No known body rust, engine had a new top end by professional mechanic to fix an oil leak. Now she is just fine. The steering gear is original and has a little play to her, but drives fine. Mileage is what shows on odometer, speedometer cable was not connected after the restoration. She just needs to get out to the drive-in again. The car is garage kept in the Indianapolis area and can be seen by appointment. Remember, this is an auction. She is as-is and where-is. I can help coordinate shipment but it is at the buyers expense. Buyer must make make paypal deposit of $1000 within 24 hrs of close of auction and arrangements for pickup and final payment in 5 days.
