I am the second owner. It was finished in "Navy Blue" ( MB color ) with palomino color mb-tex interior . The body is in very nice condition all around . There are no dings or dents. The paint needs to be detailed and it will shine like new . The interior is very clean as well , as the pictures will show . Everything on the car works inculding the Cruise Control which is very rare on all these W123s. All lights and controls, sunroof, everything works on this car. There are no rips or tears in the seats and the carpets are very clean they are covered with MB 300D mats. The original ones underneath are very clean. Even the wood panel is looking great. Dash has no cracks at ALL. Very clean. NO mechanical problems at ALL everything works fine and properly, very well maintained. But the best thing about this car is the way it drives .It runs like a diesel should and it was recently serviced at my local MB Dealer, new origianal Bosch Glowpulgs, fuel filter is new, fuel pump needles new and serviced. New oil change transmission fluid and motor oil was changed. Heater cores repared and AC recharged. Motor and transmission mounts replaced as well to make the diesel engine hardly noticable. All parts replaced were brand new parts from original Mercedes Benz Dealer. It always starts up right and idles like a diesel engine should . The 3 liter 5 cylinder diesel engine is considered to be the most durable engine Mercedes ever built. There are several Mercedes diesels of this era on Ebay right now with 400k miles and still running well . This car would be perfect as a practical investment. It would also do well as reliable and economical every day driver for many years . Or it would also be the perfect candidate for a bio diesel conversion . This way you could drive on vegetable oil or even free waste oil from restaurants .With gasoline prices where they are today , it sure sounds like a great idea .
